I'm populating the combobox as a result of a dataset. I've already considered the dummy record and that's what I may ultimately end up doing. I was just wondering if it was possible somehow to insert a blank row into a bound combobox.

Unfortunately not. You either have to go the manual route, or add to the data source.

I know how to insert a blank row into a ComboBox that is loaded manually, however, is it possible to insert one into a DataBound ComboBox. I have tried it using the same method as I do manually and it won't allow it.<br />
