Why are other peoples email being routed or copied to to my account?

Recently stood up a new exch2010 server (still coexisting with our exch2003 server). Instead of rapidly just pushing it out to production I of course began testing for failure points. FOUND ONE!! Grrrrr.

I created then moved over a test.acct@domain.com account from our exch2003 server and made sure the server was sending and receiving as designed. Seeing that worked I then moved 2 employee accounts over to the exch2010 server and all seemed well. But when I logged into the test.acct@domain.com I saw that all the emails from the 2 employee accounts are somehow being copied to the test.acct@domain.com account also. Strange?

So both employees are still sending and receiving their emails as normal, but the test.acct@domain.com is receiving every email they get or send? I'm still an exch2010 newbie and if this was exch2003 I would just open ADUC on exch2003 and verify why its being forwarded to the test account. I did just that for the exch2010 but nothing was there

There's a feature called journaling in Exchange 2010 that will send a copy of every email in the environment to a single mailbox. You may want to check to see if that's enabled. Go to Organization Config>Hub Transport>Journal Rules and make sure there is nothing there.

found it @ Go to Organization Config>Mailbox>Properties>Maintenance Tab>Deselect Journal Recipient>Apply>Ok

Duplicate/copied emails stop. Thanks for the great direction!

Will my email signature work in Office 365?

You've built an email signature using raw HTML code in Office 365, but you can't review how it looks with Transport Rules. So you have to test it over and over again before it can be used. Isn't this a bit of a waste of your time? Wouldn't a WYSIWYG editor make it a lot easier?
