how to add a drop down in the search box

Hi

i would like to add one dropdown , that should contain the content types I have created so far (like user fans, Cities, Clubs etc). I´ve been looking around but I cant find anything. I am using custom search but the only drop down Iam getting are Site and User. Could you please help me?

Hello Loganathan,

Thank you very much for answering me, I really thought nobody was going to help me on this.

Attached goes an screenshot of what I am trying to accomplish. I would like to filter my search by content types. Please take a look at the image and feel free to ask me any questions in order to understand what I am trying to do.

I am using Custom Search module, but it is not displaying all my content types, only Users and Content. I need to filter the search by the ones you see on the screenshot which are the content types I created.

Hi Expert,

I found the solution , it seems I was not filtering my content types correctly using custom search module.

After digging the custom search module, I finally got it to work by filtering the custom types and adding the drop down feature that comes with the module
