There are several missing links to the authenticaion section on the ActiveMQ security page

Could someone please post how to authenticate a user in ActiveMQ

Can I do this without an XBean (I hope so)

Which actual file needs to be changes.  Is it activemq.xml ?

Could someone please post an example of giving a user and pw for two users, say

UID:  green, pw: greenpw
UID: red  pw:  redpw

Thanks, njd

Yes, but can I assume that I only need to edit ActiveMQ.xml and have no Xbean work to do ?

(I think so, just want to make sure because of the different things I have read)

Thanks

Well, by editing activemq.xml you ARE doing xbean work. By using activemq.xml, you are configuring the broker using xbean.

So to answer the question, no, you don't need do anything else other than what you've done in activemq.xml
