Im developing a windows application in vb.net using visual studio 2010

Then i want to create a setup file for this program
And give it to clients to install it.

I need your help how to create a setup file
And to make sure all pre-requiests will be their
And it will work on windows xp and later versions till windows 7
Also if it is possible to make it a portable program without the need to install anything

Open vs2010 create new project select setup, add your existing project to it.  There are many videos on this, search youtube.

As far as a standalone(no install application) it depends on what the app is.  If the application needs a database the database would have to already be installed,  if the app doesn't have any dependencies, it can run without installing.
Main issue is making sure users has basic windows apps installed, i.e. things like the correct .net version, adobe(if your app uses that), etc.

I have several apps that run as standalone.  All you need is the .exe file from the release folder.  As long as the above requirements are met.
