Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am in the process of customizing my Windows 8 desktop environment to suit my needs and taste.  One thing which has just come up is my wish to have some tropical beach wallpaper for the background of Windows 8.  Perhaps I overlooked it, but, I could not find any that might have been offered by the operating system itself.  At any rate, could someone provide a safe direct download link or links for obtaining tropical beach background wallpaper for Windows 8?

Thanks in advance for any attention and feedback given to this question.

Hello

With regards to logistics, what would the actual steps be for incorporating the pictures into  Windows 8's library of wallpaper designs?  Should the files be copied into a designated folder which houses all wallpaper images?  Should the .jpg's be converted to .bmp's first?  Or, will they work just fine without file conversion?

             Thank you

Right click the jpg file and choose "set as desktop background".

For more images, please type "tropical beach scene wallpaper" in Google Search window and hit enter.  You'll have more images than you need (probably). Choose the best ones you like and download them.

Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,

Thanks so much for the nice beach scenes posted in addition to the helpful online links for obtaining more.  I decided to go ahead and download a few of the pictures posted in addition to several contained within the links provided.  Using the tip given by aadih, it was easy to set one of several downloaded pictures as background wallpaper.

Once again, many thanks for the pictures, links, and tips given here.
