Can anyone tell me if we can Backup our hosted Exchange 2013 DAG to office 365 and how?

If you are using a hosted platform you have almost no options, unless you control the hosted platform. The whole point of using a hosted platform is that you don't have to worry about backups and redundancy. If you don't trust your hosted provider then you either need to switch to a provider you can trust or bring the platform back on prem and do the redundancy options yourself.

sorry Simon. I may have misrepresented the situation. The exchange DAG is setup on-site at the clients premises. We are looking for a good external option for DR purposes

Your only option is to put a server in to a data centre. It will need to have virtual machines on it as you will need at least two - a domain controller and the Exchange server. Then put the server in to its own AD site, connect with a site to site VPN and then add it to your DAG.

You cannot use any hosted Exchange platform to do that for you, because the server needs to belong to your domain to be a member of your DAG.
