The PFDTLR files are usually created in the following folder (unless you are on a corporate network using roaming profiles):

•Windows Vista/7/8: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Corel\WordPerfect Office X5\DateTime
•Windows 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Corel\WordPerfect Office X5\DateTime

Here are a few of things you can try to fix the issue:
•Exit WordPerfect and rename the "DateTime" folder to anything else (ie. "DateTime1").  This folder, and the files within, should be recreated the next time WordPerfect is launched.
•Make sure your C: drive has plenty of free space (this is rarely a problem these days, but you never know)
•Run a repair of the WordPerfect Office X5 installation (from the Windows Add/Remove Programs dialog), and rename the "DateTime" folder again.
