We have sql server 2008 R2 std edition and SQL server 2012 std edition on different environments. Is there a mobile app that I can use to connect to SQL agent to check the status on my jobs.

Thanks.

For Android you can try: "Mobile SQL Server Manager"

"Use the Job Activity Monitor feature to watch job progress, status, and history. The Agent’s error logs can help you troubleshoot the jobs hassle free."

Or you can use the code posted here to build your own email notification from SQL:

I already have the email serup, but still would like to have it accessible thru mobile app. Do I need to install anything on the server to use this mobile app? My server is behind a firewall accessible through VPN using a citrix client.  Will I be able to connect to my sql server instance using this app.

Your question was "Is there a mobile app that I can use to connect to SQL agent to check the status on my jobs." and the only App so far as far as I'm aware is the one posted above. I'm sure Google support won't let you down (without connectivity to your SQL) as most of the businesses have SQL Servers behind firewalls.
