Slow Server 2003

Hi,

I have a Windows 2003 Server which have slow network connections, it takes around 1min to open shares on our other server.  This machine is a virtual machine and when I do a "net view" I get the following error:

System error 71 has occurred:

No more connection can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept.

This error comes and goes, I get it sometimes during the day and then not.

I would post the steps but it is rather long and complicated and there are multiple solutions.

I reinstalled the network card and this did the trick
