Hello,

I have a domain abc.com. Its mail server name is mail.abc.com. I have a sub domain that also mail.abc.com. Is there any issue in sending or receiving mail in the domain, because the subdomain name is same as the mail server name.

I rather doubt that you control abc.com - I think that's owned by a major broadcaster and it redirects to abc.go.com.  The reason this is worth noting is that without the actual domain names, we cannot examine the DNS settings.  And without examining the DNS settings we cannot answer your question.

My advice: Post the domain name here, with links to the "whois" information, and just to be safe, test it yourself with a couple of simple scripts.

Hello,
Sorry for the explanation in my question. Its not my domain. I just give you that as an example. Consider that abc.com as a domain.

@Jacobbaby: It appears from your grading history that you may not understand the community standards at Experts-Exchange.  Please read the grading guidelines and explain the bad grade.  An explanation is expected whenever you do not give a grade of "A."  An explanation is especially appropriate here, since you did not respond to a request for information!
