Sonicwall VPN issues

I am currently experiencing an interesting issue with a new VPN configuration. In a Sonicwall TZ 215, I have configured Group VPN and when I attempt to connect to the VPN via iOS device I am able to hit authenticate however I am immediately rejected with a "Authentication Failed." however I have double checked the credentials and everything is in order. Also when this happen and I check current sessions in the Sonicwall is says that the Test account is indeed connected. Also attached is the error logs.embed=file 842800]

#10 says failure. Try to do domain\username.

The Sonicwall is administering all credentials. There is no AD as the entire environment is Mac. So, there isn't a domain. The username and password are incredibly simple (ie: username: username, password: password) and 3 people have attempted unsuccessfully. So, it isn't credentials. cr
Does your ios device have the option for MS chap? Might want to test each setting. My ipad broke this weekend so I can't test it for you on my own network.
Group vpn is sonicwalls ipsec remote accesx vpn solution and requires gvc client. Unfotunately there is no gvc client for apple devices. You need to setup l2ttp or the ssl vpn for the apple devices to vpn through the sonicwall.

I configured the L2TP and that is how I am currently trying to connect.
Logon to SonicWALL and go to VPN --> L2TP server. Click on "Configure" and then go to PPP Tab.
Can you confirm "MSChapv2" is selected first as shown below.

What firmware version are you using in sonicwall. Are you on 5.9. Can you check, you are on atleast 5.8.14.
