Hello experts,

What's the best way to convert phone numbers, e.g. (513) 555-1212 to straight digits (see sample for addnl conversions)?  Keep it simple.

Note some phone numbers end with zeros.

Thanks,
Gary

A few nested SUBSTITUTE functions:

in B2:

=TRIM(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(A2,"+",""),"(",""),")",""),"-","")," ",""),".",""))

Or if you want to do it in-situ,

Select Column, then CTRL+H  replace each character with nothing, one at a time.
