Outlook

Hi i am register domain control on outlook and begin to use email from my domain like
info@domain.com. it is working great but the problem when i use POP it is send me multiple copies of messages. How i can fix it i do not want to delete all message from my outlook web interface. I use Microsoft outlook 2007. It is any solution to fix it with out moving to Imap. I want to use POP and i do not want to save copy of messages.

A new account will do that (because it resets the download pointer). The question is, does the multiple copies stop after this.

If not, consider making a new Outlook Profile.

Make secure backup of your PST file (ensure this, and for ALL PST files).

Then go to Control Panel, Mail, and delete the Profile (which will delete the account again). Make a new profile and new account and import you email from the backed up files.

However, this will download the mail again. So make sure after making your new account that duplicates are still occurring. Do this before making at new profile.

Do you have two accounts with the same email address?  That will cause duplicate POP emails. In Outlook, you can go to Send/Receive Properties and uncheck the extra account. That is what I do.

Are you leaving mail on the server?  It is possible that you are resetting the downloaded pointers. However, I leave mail on the server and it only downloads once.

I live message on account and i had wrong time zone before. is it can make a problem i just changed.

I just have one. It show on web interface one copy of message. But Microsoft outlook show me multiple copies when i click send and receive.

It is possible that time zone could cause an issue. Can you set your computer time zone for the same time as your server?  

My mail is forwarded from a different time zone and that does not cause duplicate downloads for me. So changing time zone is just a test. I don't necessarily think that is the solution. But at least make time zones correct.

If you just have one account, Outlook is very good at knowing what it has downloaded and what it has not.

Consider deleting your mail account and making a new mail account. That could cause mail to download again so be ready for that. But once the new account has been created, it might fix the problem.

I just created a totally new email in my outlook. And it is download multiple copies of same massages.
