In Windows 7, how do I set my workstation's IP address?
Need it fixed to act as a shared document server.

Control Panel -> Network And sharing center -> Change adapter settings (left hand side) -> right click on adapter in question -> properties -> select TCP IP v6 or tcp ip v4 -> Properties.
