How to have someone be notified when a resource room is booked in Exchange 2007?

We have several resource rooms that auto accept when they are booked. When a room is booked, I would like an e-mail notification to be sent to a certain staff person, not the person that actually booked the meeting.

How do I do that?

Thanks,

Justin

You should be able to add the users as Delegates on the resource mailboxes and configure them to forward meeting requests. You might not be able to automatically approve meeting requests in that case, though. I haven't worked with 2007 resource mailboxes in a while, so I can't remember.

Where do you setup a delegate?

For exchange 2007 I think you have to do this in the Exchange Management Shell with the set-mailboxcalendarsettings command. Something like this:
set-mailboxcalendarsettings <room mailbox> -resourcedelegates <user list, separated by commas> -forwardrequeststodelegates $true
