jquery visible rows in a table selection

Hi,

I have a table with an id tblHitParade. This tblHitParade with three columns have filter capabilities, then after the table is filtered i need to run a loop only on the visible (filtered) rows, and display an alert box for each of the filtered result of the first column, any idea?

try this :

$("#tblHitParade tr:visible").each(function() {
     var column1 = $("td:eq(0)", this);
     alert( column1.text() );
});
