We use Windows Live Mail with 4 seperate accounts.

However, the UNREAD Quick Views Unread Email count shows 57 but we only have 20 total in the 4 inboxes.

How is the 57 number/unread count derived?

You may have only 20 unread messages in the 4 inboxes, but what about messages in the other boxes such as Deleted Items, Storage folders, Junk items, etc.?

Also in the View tab, there is another Quick Views button in the Views section at the left.  This will allow you to set up what messages to show as Unread.
