Update drop down to point to new URL

Our test environment has been refresh to have all of the same content and data as production. One of the items I noticed is that when we click on one of the links instead of going to the test site if goes to production.

At the bottom of the screen is seems to be call a JavaScript

I am not a SharePoint experts by a long shot and all of the article I have read so far had stated how to added a webpart to do this but my question is how do I update what is already there???

Ok for the lack for information due to lack of knownledge.

When users goes to the main sharepoint site. There is a is a title bar when users hover over drop down and then lets users click on a " link" for lack of a better work that will take them to that location.

I have notice when I click this link at the bottom of the page I see reference to a javascript redirect...

I have not idea if this is using a webpart or list....
ok so we are either talking about the top link bar or someone has created a custom menu.

Go to site settings and under navigation look for top link bar.
Do you see your navigation items in there? If so, can you edit them and change the url to suit?
ok, I will check on this tomorrow morning since I have left the office for the day.

thank you so much or the help
I went into Navigation and could the drops downs I was referring to but the point to the correct subiste and not the URL but which I browse down the drop list I see the wrong URL list in the javascript code on the bottom od the screen
