Scenario:<br />
Exchange 2010 SP3<br />
&lt;100 users <br />
Migrated successfully to O365 using Cut-over migration.<br />
Implemented dirsync 2.0 with password sync<br />
Everything is ok mailboxes have licenses users outlook have been reconfigured...<br />
BUT<br />
now to remove onprem exchange 2010 the databases must be emptied.<br />
<br />
cannot run remove-mailbox as this removes the ad object and this is undesired<br />
cannot run disable-mailbox as this removes the email attributes like email, proxyaddresses and other info.<br />
<br />
Currently the Exchange services are running but I ran set-casmailbox and set them all to $false.<br />
<br />
There is no convert on-premises mailboxes to mail-enabled users for exchange 2010 so how is this done manually?

Exchange 2010 to Office 365 Migration

Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers.
