Ecommerce website upgrade and transfer considerations

I have an online shop that is outdated with over 2000 products on Domain A. It has good search engine viability.  I have developed a new version of the shop on Domain B and now ready for it to go live.

Transferring the files from Domain A to Domain B is not an issue, what I want to do is make sure I maintain the search engine visability. Obviously the page names will have changed and I want to make sure the search engines pick up on these changes as quickly as possible.

What considerations and actions should I take into account for this process?

Thank you.

If you have kept the urls intact you should be good.  Otherwise you will need to figure out a formula to 301 redirect http://myolddomain.com/products/category/item to http://myNEWdomain.com/newcategory/item

Thanks Scott - Just a 301 redirect strategy? Should I consider any other factors in the upgrade?

As far as seo goes, I would say that is the most important.  You said you have different page names so really make sure redirects are mapping correctly.

Otherwise, I assume you tested everything else, auto emails, gateway etc.
