A friend of mine is getting many, many spam emails from the same person. She can't figure out if the friend has a virus that is using the address book to send out multiple emails. She is even getting them from me, and I don't even have her in my address book, although I do use Outlook to send her emails.

It's really easy to spoof the from address in an email, so it not necessarily that that one person has an address.

If anything, it's more likely that your friend has a virus, and that virus is reading from her address book, and attempting to use those address to socially engineer information from her.

I would advise your friend to scan her computer with an antivirus program, such as Microsoft Security Essentials, Avast, or AVG.
