VM Ware ESx, no longer free?

Hello everyone,

Could I get confirmation as to what the current situation is with VMware Essentials? Historically, the 'plain' version has always been free (albeit limited). Is that option no longer available?

VMware ESXi is still free.  Though it's called vSphere Hypervisor now.
