My computer won't boot. I know there is some software out there that I can boot from the CD so that I can get to the partition and wipe it clean so that I can reinstall the software.

Can you help me?
Thanks!

Hey there,
Can you be more specific about the partition you want to format ? is the system partition or  other local partitions.
If your machine faces booting issues then you can either repair the start up and then re install the software.Or you can format the system partition and reinstall the operating system.
Again if you just want to get rid of the software that is causing issues then try system restore or use ubuntu to access the local hard disk and manually wipe the drive or contents.

Thanks
