Hi Everyone,

I have outlook 2007 and Exchange Server 2007 in the network. All are patched and running smooth.

Recently, we configured a users outlook and noticed that the emails send from his outlook stays in the outbox for couple of minutes before being released.

On the same computer, it works fine for other user profiles.

When I send an email using outlook web access, the email is released immediately.

The user is not using Cached Exchange Mode as well.

Please feel free to drop your valuable suggestions and ideas.

Thanks,
Ahmed

Does this occurs for all messages for this user?
Is Delay Delivery configured?
Verify that Send Immediately is checked for Mail Options - Send/Receive.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for your reply.

I just found that the user has created a Rule to delay emails by a minute. That has resulted in the delay.

Thanks,
Ahmed
