Visio 2013 - Swimlane diagram - I want to adjust the height of my swimlanes

I would like to override all of the calculated settings in my swimlane which prevent my height from being adjusted. (See graphic).

How can I do this.
OR
How can I get the height of the swimlanes (all of them ) to be smaller.

Swimlanes have a preset margin that creates white space between the edges of contained shapes and the border of the lane. You can adjust the margin size:
On the Cross-Functional Flowchart tab, click Arrange>Margins and select one of the preset values between zero and one inch.

A couple of notes:
1) Increasing the size of the margin will increase the height of each lane, however, decreasing the margin will NOT reduce the height of each lane.
2) You can drag the bottom of a lane upwards to reduce the height of a lane, however, doing so will not move any shapes in the lane.

With those notes in mind and because I don't think there is an automatic way to reduce the height of all lanes, the best approach is four steps:
1) Set the margin to the desired value.
2) Draw a bounding box around all shapes in a lane and drag them up until they reach the upper margin.
3) Drag the lower boundary of the lane upward until you reach the lower margin.
4) Repeat with additional lanes.
