Hi All,

Just a quick one. A user wants to have outlook open a new window every time they receive a new email automatically. I am pretty sure Outlook wont do this but they are convinced it will.

Anyone shed any light on this. I have looked at the received mail options in Outlook and cannot find anything like this.

No, this is not an option, as it's also a bit unlogical (leave Outlook open, walk away for coffee, and come back to have 200 windows open? Of course I'm exaggerating, but there are people who receive that many emails in a short amount of time).
I'm not sure yet, but maybe I can get it to work with VBA. Let me know.

Hi Kimputer,

Thats what my line of thinking was (doesn't make sense). Thanks for the feedback, hopefully I can convince the user now.

Hi DTHConsulting,

Thanks for the link. I tried the solution in the link. However it had a strange effect on the computer. Basically it keeps moving the cursor when you try to type. So for example, logging into a website the cursor keeps moving as you type back to the start of the line. Strange and gets annoying very quickly. Worked great though for Outlook. Might be something on the computer causing this behavior.

Thanks again everyone.
