Browser will not open internet connection

Hello
I have a BT internet connection vi a Hub 3
I have two PC's connected by cable.

Machine 1 works correctly
Machine 2 seems to be connected, it shows an open connection Icon, (little square screen) but when I enter a url in a browser the url will not open.
I can see the little connection icon going round but no web site opens.

As  test I tried to open bbc.co.uk
Machine 1 opens immediately
Machine 2 fails to open the url
Then I get Connection timed out.

Any ideas please?
Many thanks

on machine 2 try to ping that web page (open comand prompt > win key+R >type cmd > press Enter >type ping bbc.co.uk).
If you get pings back then internet connection is OK, but something wrong is with browser.
If you won´t get any ping back then probably there is no connection
So for beginning this could be nice to know and based on this we can go left or right

Well not quite sure what happened here but I pinged to Machine A and the connection started to work.
It did take longer than usual but its all working again now.
Many thanks
