VB.net Excel Add-in not working on Windows 8 machine

Hi
I installed  VB.net/VSTO Excel Add-in on a users Windows 8 machine
The ribbon appeared but when they clicked a button on it nothing happened
The same app installed and ran fine on their Windows 8 machine
Why would this be?

You mean it worked on Windows 7 machine? Do they see a yellow box with a "Enable Contents" button?

What is the difference between working and non working systems besides OS? 32bit vs 64bit? Office version? I understand this is a problem on a customer PC so hard for you to get all the info.
