Hi,

I have a strange issue with one user on my network who can only search through the past 30 days of email. I have tested the search from three different computers. Two of the machines have Outlook 2013 and one had Outlook 2010. I also tried the search from OWA. Every time I had the same result of only returning results from the past 30 days.

If I manually scroll through the emails I can see them.

No other user on my network has this.

The server is SBS 2011 Standard.

I know there are a lot of articles floating around about similar problems, but none I have found seem to be the same.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Thanks,

Sam

Even though it is only one user, I would still recreate the search index.
There is a script in the Scripts directory of the Exchange installation point called resetsearchindex.ps1 which will do this for you.

Simon.
