Syncing WMDC with WM 6.1 and WEHH 6.5

We recently converted End users from Win XP to Win 7 PC's...Previously the end users had the capability of syncing either mobile platform with XP's ActiveSync with no issue. Now that Windows 7 is installed, on the majority of the PC's, Win 7 does not pick up the drivers right away and I usually have to go to "devices and printers", find the hand-held, and run a troubleshooter on it. It will find the driver and load WMDC. But from what I have seen so far, I can not get them to sync, unless I go to "connect without setting up your device">>"mobile device settings">>"connection settings". Once this dialogue box is opened, I have to change the one drop down from bluetooth to whatever COM the USB is plugged into AND change the other drop down from "automatic" to "work network" and then my units will sync. NOW, the problem i'm having is if that hand held is removed from its cradle, the user is changed, they attempt to cradle the hand held again...the ONLY WAY IT WILL SYNC , is to open that connection settings dialogue box in order for the hand held to sync.

Is there a better way to handle this situation?? Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!!!!

hello

check your firewall settings or try (on device) deactivating settings-connections-USBtoPC=Enhanced_Network...

OTOH there are so much possible issues, please follow ActiveSync troubleShooting guides: ie

If you need further support send the log of WMDC.
