How to connect two or more magento sites?

I have a Magento eCommerce site.
I have two clients who have two separate Magento eCommerce sites.
So, three sites in total.

I would like to dislpay products from their sites on my site.

Naturally the stocks are shared so if an item gets sold on my site and let's say it was the last item in stock, immediately my client should not be able to sell the same product on his site. It should show up as "OUT OF STOCK".

Is this even possible without manully exporting CSV product lists from my clients' sites and importing them to my site? That would not be an ideal scenario as there is no control over stocks etc. in that method.

Please assist.
Thanks in advance

I imagine it is possible to create a plugin that intercepts stock changes and pushes those changes to other systems - either through a transaction log that is periodically uploaded or via a web service call or a combination.

Personally I have not attempted this.

The other option is to create a trigger on the stock tables and then update the other tables on change. Apparently the Federated engine (MySQL 5.4) can do remote updates in triggers - again - have not explored this option myself.

Is there an extension that does any of this was my question.
I am not able to program what you mention above myself.
