Apache Server and PHP

I've got a brand new VPS from GoDaddy. Im just trying to set up a simple wordpress site and cant seem to do the simplest thing.

Just adding a new theme will throw the "Are you sure you want to do this" error.

I've boosted the memory, file size, etc..

Any ideas?

The following article deals quite extensively with this problem.  It appears it is quite a common problem with WP Themes - the article discusses how to investigate the problem.

Yes I've seen that article and tried the recommended solutions. Still no solution.
