It looks like that IIS7.5 tries to interpret the web.config file from IIS5. <br />

Create the new web space in IIS7.5 and copy the content wihtout the web.config file<br />

It's possible to have features 'installed' but not enabled. &nbsp;Please read thru the pages I linked and check your settings against them. &nbsp;There is just a lot more to setting up and operating IIS7 than there was to IIS5.

OK that helped ! found that while it was installed the service was STOPPED. Once we started the service it is working now !<br />

IIS 5.0 to IIS 7.5

Web applications are systems that run in browsers that perform functions normally associated with other client-based programs. One of the most commonly used web applications is email; instead of downloading individual emails to a local machine, the data is shown through a website. Other examples of web applications are collaborative systems like a wiki or an online game.

Web Applications

Web Components are a set of standards currently being produced by Google engineers as a W3C specification that allow for the creation of reusable widgets or components in web documents and web applications. The intention behind them is to bring component-based software engineering to the World Wide Web. The components model allows for encapsulation and interoperability of individual HTML elements. Support for Web Components is present in Chrome and Opera and is in Firefox (with a manual configuration change). Microsoft's Internet Explorer has not implemented any Web Components specifications yet. Web Components consist of 4 main elements: Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, HTML Imports and HTML Templates.

Web development software is used to create websites for both the Internet and intranets. Software can be either locally installed or operated through a cloud interface, and ranges in complexity from simple text editors to full-fledged integrated development environments (IDEs) that include graphics, video, audio, scripting and database support.
