Hi,

Just trying to resolve an issue with shared calendar in outlook 2010. We have exchange 2010, and have a user who shares her managers calendar as a reveiwer. she is able to see the calendar but, whenever her manager gets a calendar invite, she is also notified and when accepted, she is notified again. Is there a way to stop this? we do not want the user to be notified for every meeting her manager is invited to. She should be able to see it only.

Regards,

Ajoy

Sounds like you have her set as a Delegate, rather than plain vanilla calendar sharing.  Turn this off, and then just set permissions on the Calendar folder itself.  Then have her connect to her colleague's mailbox.

Delegate settings are under File.. Account Settings, by the way.
Calendar permissions are set by going to that view, and r-clicking it in the LH pane.. Properties... Permissions.

Since both the solutions are same, and the first one worked fine.

I posted both of them... the second one was just more detail on the first!
