I have a Dell Inspiron Desktop PC. Came with Windows Vista. &nbsp;It came with an AMD Athlon 7550 Dual Core Processor 64 Bit. It has 2 gig of RAM. &nbsp; I reformatted the HD and use it to tinker with Linux distros. &nbsp;Would this run Windows 8.1. Dell of course said no.<br />

I have an older computer that runs XP. I use it only for Quicken and Versa Check - Print checks. &nbsp;My wife read some articles about XP losing support. I am inclined to do nothing but I won't be able to do that.<br />
