Microsoft Outlook 2010

My company has Microsoft Outlook 2010 on the network that the users are using, lately all the users are having issues with receiving and sending their email, when sending an email, the message going into the outbox and sits there for a long time before it goes or some times it doesn't go at all. There is no blocks on my firewalls, so the incoming and outgoing traffic is allowed. Can anyone assist with this issue. Thanks in advance.

did you try to repair outlook, or office yet?
also - if the problem is recent, an update can be the cause - so uninstall the latest ones for testing
or try a system restore to a date it was OK
