<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jquery/jquery-1.9.0.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
        $(function () {
            $('.slider img:gt(0)').hide();
            setInterval(function () { $('.slider :first-child').fadeOut(2000).next('img').fadeIn(2000).end().appendTo('.slider'); }, 5000); /*5 sec*/
        });
    </script>
    <style type="text/css">
	.slider { clear:both; position:relative; height:240px; width:950px; }
	.slider img { position:absolute; left:0; top:0;cursor:pointer; }
    </style>

    <div class="slider" style="margin:0 auto;">

I went to your site and see the code and it does not get the JavaScript error you show.

When "$" is undefined, it generally means the jQuery has not been pulled in with the <script> tag prior to its use but in your case, it is via the CDN.

It is possible if your page is displayed as https and your script pulls in jQuery with http you may not get the script, but this does not appear to be your issue.
