Online Free Booking System

For a non-profit amateur football club, I am trying to create an online booking system in which players are notified by e-mail if there's any upcoming game and they can add their name. The system should accept a certain number of players in order of time of booking and create reserves of those who booked outside the number limit.

I hope there's something available that can be integrated in a website.
This is a fun group therefore I don't have any resource to spend for creating this.

Thanks for any solution and tip.

Short of having to write your own program, the only other thing that comes to mind is http://www.evite.com.   It looks like you can enter a maximum to rsvp and allow others to see who is coming.
eviteI didn't see anything about outside the U.S. except for the privacy policy. http://www.evite.com/content/privacy_policy

If this does not work, I think you need to create a custom program.

http://www.bluesombrero.com is for sports teams and I think  you just get a sponsor message on the page or I know you have to use their merchant processing which is how they make their money.

You can sign up with google apps for business for a free non profit account.  (They will ask you to verify your non profit status)  From there you can create a google site, create a form that loads data to a private google drive.  You can add people to a group that sends out your alerts.  To get people to the group, you will either have to do that manually or you can write code for automation.    You don't have to use google apps for business, you can just use the regular free google account to do this except you will not use 'sites', just the form hosted on docs and your site with yourdomain.com would be hosted someplace else.

Another option is to simply use mailchimp.com.  You are allowed 2,000 contacts for free.  Simply get people on a mailing list and mass email if there are openings.

http://www.weebly.com/ offers a free site as long as you don't use your own domain.  Otherwise I think it is just $7 a month.  You can use that as your site.  Weebly, wix.com and http://www.squarespace.com all offer an all in one hosting/CMS package at very reasonable rates.  They all have ecommerce modules/plug ins as well.

I already have a personal hosting so that's not an issue and the cost of a domain also is something I can afford, no issue. I only need something to automate the enroll for each game. Right now we utilize a facebook group and each time is a mess. Too many comments and when lining up the team there are always mistakes. We have tried with FB Events but it doesn't stop at a designated number and it doesn't show who signed in first, so we have dropped it. Thanks for the tip.

I have signed up to check it out but it seems it's only for US, therefore since we live in Dubai I had to put a fake tel (ours are longer and don't fit) and a fake address (we don't have states). Let's see if they approve and if it solves our issue. Will update.

Try http://teamer.net/pages/faqs it looks like that should work EXCEPT for sending out text messages.

Dear Scott. teamer.net is a nice instrument but unfortunately doesn't cater our needs. Let me explain. We have approx 90 members but each game event is made of 16 players. Everyone is invited but only a max of 16 players will play. If let's say 30 accepts, the system does not show the first 16 who have accepted to play and this creates a mess of course. I need to find a similar alternative which allows to organize the players.

Thanks for the suggest. I am now evaluating arrangemygame.com which seems to have all the features I need. Early to chant victory so for now I am only testing it.
