Dear all,

As since SQL 2012 release MS introduce the SSDT for Visual Studio 2010/2012/2103, anything for DB managment and programabilty that SSDT can't do?

Why don't just simply do it via SSMS?

VS express 2010 + SSDT tools = Visual studio professional ?

"VS express 2010 + SSDT tools = Visual studio professional ? "

but this one should not be correct, right?

"Integration into TFS "

so you mean VS professional has this one but not the express + SSDT ?

SSDT has to be installed on top of VS Pro as well. There used to be a comparison chart showing the features of express compared to other editions but can't find it anymore.

VS pro as integration to TFS but I am quite sure SSMS does not have it

this is totally legit. but SSDT also brings you features like Compare and Data Compare that SSMS cannot do. Each tools are complementing the other.
