Autosum doesn't add

I attached an excel sheet.

If I do and autosum of  =SUM(G3:H3) in cell J3, it works fine.  However, when I use the fill command for J3:J10, it outputs the same data in all the boxes.

Why is it doing that?

Please try and see.

I would guess that you have automatic calculation turned off as it works as expected here. Does the status bar say 'calculate' by any chance?

Press f9 to force a calculation or go to Options, Formula and set calculation to automatic
