Hi experts,

I was wondering,

Is there a way to redirect users to a custom welcome page after registering to the site?

Thanks in advance

How deep do you want to get into Drupal? That is, it's really simple to do in code (i.e. a custom module).

Here's a discussion about how to do it in code:

Note the code is basically implementing hook_form_alter to call a function that adds a redirect to the form. Just change the destination to what you want, change each instance of the string "custom" to the name of your module, and voila! it should work. For example my_module_form_alter instead of custom_form_alter if your module is called my_module.

It's also most likely easy to accomplish using Rules. The Rules module is pretty hefty for such a small thing so I personally wouldn't enable it just to get this to happen, but if you're already using it then go for it.

I'm assuming that you're using Drupal 7, although the concept is the same. In fact, I think the code may be the same as well for Drupal 6.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Mike!,

Thank you very much. I am using rules right now, but your link is great for just what I need.

Thanks,
