A disk on our NetApp FAS 2220 has failed. It looks like the hot spare was automatically converted to live disk.<br />

After changing out the bad disk, it has been automatically assigned as a spare. However, it is not part of any aggregate.<br />

My question is -- should I add it to our default aggregate -- aggr0? Why or why not?
