c# if statment

Hi guys ,

I would like to know how can I write if statement......let's say  I have textbox and I want to say  " if (textbox1.text == (to anything written inside)" messagebox.show("bla bla")

actually what i'm trying to figure out is how can I say that anything written in the textbox1.text = do something
