How do I modify the DNS Settings on a Windows 7 Professional Machine?

Go to Control Panel, network & Sharing, Click Change Adaptor Settings in the upper left corner

You will see one probably name Local Network connection. This is your wired network connection.

Right click it and select properties

In the box that opens, highlight the one labeled TCP/IP4 and click the properties button,

At the bottom click the box "Use the following DNS Servers

Enter the first DNS server address in the top box and the 2nd address in the 2nd box. click OK and close.

You have now changed your DBS settings.
