The file @
 D:\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\ERRORLOG
 file is 52 GB.

but the error log files for each reboot- they are small.
D:\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\ERRORLOG.1... D:\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\ERRORLOG.6 are small (only few MBs or even less)

what is the big file.. and how can i reduce its space?

thanks.

EXEC sp_cycle_errorlog

will force SQL to archive that log and start a new one.
