I am receiving several error messages on a Windows 2008 R2 x64 SP1 server.  The event log states the following:

Operation:

I haven't found too much information on this matter that is helpful in resolving this issue.  I have posted the details from the Event viewer below.

I have tried to restart the service and have recreated the backup job.  Still nothing.  Not sure if I need to re-install the VSS or not.  Any thoughts?

Santosh,
VSS is running and none of the writers on the system came back with an error.  All of the writers are stable and operational.

Santosh,
Thanks for the article.  The article makes mention of Crash Plan in it.  The server in question also runs Crash Plan.  I am wondering if the VSS services are in conflict between the to backup requests.  To find out, I have modified the NT backup to reflect a bare metal recovery backup instead of a full system.  This should balance out the VSS service requests.  I will let you know in the morning.  Thanks again.
