SQL server 2012 and 2014 mirror replication

I read this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993(v=sql.120).aspx and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993.aspx , standard editoin SQL server 2014 and 2014 only support synchronous database mirroring, anyway to use te async mode on SQL 2012 or 2014? AlwaysOn groups is the one ?

Yes. Synchronous mode is also know as "High Safety" mode. Asynchronous mode is known as "High Performance" mode. But Asynchronous/High Performance mode is still only available in Enterprise edition.
