Pairing a device to Asus tablet

Hi All
I am trying to use the internet on an Android ASUS EE tablet. I have paired both devices . The other is an android samsung phone. I can see it has been successfully paired but I still am unable to bring up any internet page.

Any ideas.

1 I am attempting this using two phones
- Samsung III which is pay as you go in South AFrica
- Samsung V which is a UK contract phone
Neither work !

Since you mentioned pairing, I suspect you're using Bluetooth. This is however, not the correct way to share internet (or at least not the most efficient way, bandwidth and all). On the Samsung phone, go to settings, more networks, tethering and portable hotspot. Enable portable Wi-Fi hotspot. Give it a nice name and password. On the tablet, connect to this newly created Wi-Fi and enter the correct password, and enjoy internet!
