Exchange Server 2007 working but not sending message or receiving and outlook users always asking password

Hi there,

I have the following scenario:

3 AD DCs
1 ISA Server
1 Exchange server 2007 (c:\ has 67.5 GB free) (e:\ where the exch DB is and the available space is 29GB out of 500GB)

for two days now I´m not able to send or receive any email, and now every user that has outlook installed keeps getting a "password needed" pop up and is unable to connect to exchange. To get worst the event viewer on the exchange keeps getting an ADAccess error and when openning the management console it says Could not find or connect to any AD

Now I´m really worried because emails are not going out and everybody is crazy now.
I already installed new disks and made 800GB new drive to allocate DB if it´s needed to move but since I can´t get exchange to work I´m stuck please help

Sounds like at one time you ran out of space, have you checked your exchcange logs
Have you rebooted the server? It sounds like Exchange has lost its connection to AD.
Rebooting the server or at least restarting the services will usually bring it back.

If that doesn't work then you should stop all of the Exchange services and then do a regular diagnostic on the domain connection, see if the problem is the actual server rather than Exchange.

ASKER

One of the DCs on the event viewer has the EVENT 64  logged
the other has a File replication error
Event IDs on their own are close to useless - put the event id in to http://eventid.net/ and see how many results come back.
